I knew that lots of part of Budapest are the part of the World Heritage, and now then I’ve seen them, I absolutely agree with UNESCO! Marvelous buildings and professional guide – I don’t need more to a perfect summer program.

  3. Diana

You are the best in organizing sightseeing tours! It was a well-organized, varied list of stops, and the infos weren’t too much or too less.

  4. John

In my opinion, it is the most beautiful city in the region. It is modern but it has so many nice historical buildings and squares – these two aspects make it very special! I’m happy to visit the most common sights with us, you’re great!

  5. Mary

Fortunately, we had a great time; it was not too hot, but the weather was ideal for a trip. I love history so visiting a city like Budapest was a great pleasure.

  6. Edward

I’ve learnt many cool things. For example, I’ve never thought that a market hall can be a tourst sight, but this one truly can – it is wonderful! And I’ve also collected lots of tips for my next journey(s), too.

Parliament tour

Most sights would deserve an own trip themselves - and this statement is extremely true to the House of the Parliament. The wonderful building which was designed by Imre Steindl alloys the characters of several styles (Roman, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque). During the tour, we can visit the chamber, the imposing staircase, and naturally, we won’t miss the Holy Crown and the other pieces of crown jewelry in the Dome Hall. Despite the legends, this crown was never on the head of the first Hungarian king, but it is still one of the oldest crowns of Europe. It’s from the 12th century. The ornamentation of the building represents the flora and fauna of the Carpathian Basin and only Hungarian materials were used during the work. Only the eight marble columns are exceptions, which can be found next to the main stair and which are sent from Sweden. The decoration of the whole building contains 40 kg of gold.
An extra tour belongs to the one-hour-long trip into the Parliament. We’ll visit the Castle, the Mathias Church, or the Fishermen’s Bastion in the Castle District; then further sights, such as the Heroes’ Square or the Opera House will be discovered.
